Subject: Seasonal closure of the Atlantic halibut fishery

Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec Region would like to remind fish harvesters that, in accordance with the Conservation Harvesting Plans and pursuant to the Variation Orders currently in effect, the directed fishery for Atlantic halibut will be closed to all licence holders effective November 1, 2026.
